Welcome to Cuisy (the "App"), operated by Hardal ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Cuisy.
• By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
• If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Account Registration

• You may register using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• Notify us immediately at tolgadev23@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights (e.g., unauthorized copies of cookbooks)
• Submit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the App's source code
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the App
• Interfere with the App's operation or other users' experience
• Circumvent security measures or access controls

4. Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of recipes and content you create.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for providing the service (e.g., AI parsing, cloud sync).
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload content (e.g., cookbook PDFs).
• Uploaded cookbook PDFs and indexed cookbook data are private to your account.
• Other users cannot search or access your uploaded cookbook library inside Cuisy.

Our Content

• The App, its design, code, logos, and branding are owned by Hardal.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

5. Premium Subscription

Billing

• Premium subscriptions are billed on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment is processed by Apple or Google. We do not store payment details.
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancel anytime through your Apple or Google account settings.
• No refunds for partial billing periods, subject to Apple/Google refund policies.

Premium Features

• PDF cookbook upload and AI-powered search
• Cookbook search only runs against books uploaded by your own account
• Cross-device sync via backend servers
• Enhanced AI recipe parsing

We reserve the right to modify premium features with reasonable notice.

6. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

• Recipe parsing uses AI providers (OpenAI and Google) to extract structured data from videos and PDFs.
• Submitted content is sent to AI providers solely for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.
• PDF cookbook retrieval is user-scoped and private; we do not run cross-user cookbook search.
• AI-generated results may contain inaccuracies. Always verify critical information (e.g., allergens, cooking temperatures).
• We are not liable for errors in AI-extracted recipe data.

7. Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the App.
• Deletion signs you out, removes owner-scoped local app data at once and deactivates your Cuisy account. Its Cuisy backend account records are permanently deleted 30 days after your request, unless you restore the account by signing in again before then. Provider-held records follow provider policies and may require separate action.
• Deletion timing for third-party provider records is governed by those providers; Cuisy does not promise an unverified fixed deletion period for them.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Once the 30 days have passed, the deletion is irreversible.

8. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of parsed recipes, nutritional information, or calorie estimates.
• You are responsible for verifying allergens and dietary suitability.
• We are not liable for food safety issues arising from recipe data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• We may discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
• Provisions that should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notification or by updating this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
